Happousai is up to no good again, stealing underwear from the girl's changing room at school. But Ranma transforms using his feminine side to capture the culprit, thereby exposing himself way too much for Akane's taste.
The old man will not take this defeat lightly though, and vows terrible revenge on Ranma, by brewing up the fearsome Deep Sleep Incense — one whiff and one will not wake up until the end of Spring. By accident, not Ranma but Akane is hit by the incense at the Anything Goes Martial Arts Tendo Dojo. Strangely, the sleeping Akane automatically violently defends herself from any touch or form of attack, and even starts to act out her dreams.
Ranma's natural sense of preservation makes him desperately want to look for a means of curing Akane...
Note: Twelve years after the final OVA was shown, and the end of the manga, a new piece of Ranma ½ animation was made for the It's a Rumic World exhibition of Takahashi Rumiko's artwork in Tokyo. Shown on odd numbered days from July 30th to August 11th together with two other specials for Urusei Yatsura and Inuyasha.
